What happens after I submit an application online?

Internships are a great opportunity for students to network with business professionals and experience corporate culture first-hand that compliments the classroom curriculum of their chosen field. All applications will be reviewed by Human Resources and you will be contacted if chosen for an interview based upon factors ranging from your work experience, referral from the participating educational institution, to whether or not your education and/or experience has met the minimum qualifications for consideration.

Should I call and inquire about my application if I’ve not been contacted?

Due to the volume of inquiries received, we apologize, but we do not accept phone inquiries.

When will I know if the job opening has been filled?

The internship will be removed from the website when it has been filled.

Does a second interview automatically mean that I have been chosen for the job opening?

We may request a second interview for a variety of reasons ranging from the need to clarify information obtained during the initial meeting to interviewing with other parties involved in the selection process.

How will I know if I applied and/or interviewed with the company and was not chosen for the job?

Consideration is given to applicants who meet the minimum qualifications for the position. If you were not chosen for an interview please feel free to apply for any other internship for which you qualify. If you are chosen for an interview you will receive notice from MegaGate Broadband’s Human Resources Department within ten (10) business days after the internship has been filled.
